The Humminbird SmartCast RF 10 is usually a portable SONAR unit that relies on a wireless transducer. You use mostly the RF-10 only by attaching the transducer to your end of the line, even on a fishing rod plus pour it out over the water you need to scan. There are usually two transducer devices.
